In recent years, with the gradual maturity of small pitch LED display screen technology and market, its application in the field of indoor large screen splicing has become increasingly common, especially the widespread use of LCD splicing TV walls. With the rapid development of smart cities and security industries, the demand for indoor large screens in various cities is constantly increasing, and small pitch LED products have also become popular.

The small pitch LED display screen is very eye-catching in terms of display performance. Due to the fundamental differences in luminous principles and structures, small pitch LED products can not only achieve seamless splicing, but also have a wide color gamut and excellent color performance. These are not comparable to DLP and LCD, and have fast response speed and no issues such as ghosting or dragging. It is simply a rewrite of the previous indoor large screens.

In recent years, small pitch LED display screen products have been widely welcomed in the high-end large screen category, whether it is displayed at various summits, press conferences, or in large command centers, which has led to their entry into cinemas and existence as movie screens. These are undoubtedly based on the good visual integrity and strong color expression of small pitch products, but before we feel the pain, we still need to focus on examining the application of small pitch LED display screens in indoor environments. The same obvious flaw is that the clarity is not as good as LCD.

DLP performs steadily. In terms of splicing gaps and mirror reflection, it performs better than LCD, but it cannot be compared with small spacing; In terms of resolution and heat generation, it is not as good as liquid crystal display, but it is also better than small spacing. Overall, DLP performs mediocre, with only the lowest brightness, but it performs well at all.

The advantages of LCD are also quite obvious. The biggest flaw is that the splicing gap is slightly larger, even the 1.7mm splicing seam is within the visible range, which affects the overall visual performance. Secondly, the image is greatly affected by external lighting, and the problem of easy reflection also needs to be addressed. However, it still has significant advantages in terms of resolution, heat generation, and maintenance. In addition, the demand for brightness in indoor display is not high, coupled with lower prices and low maintenance costs. LCD still has obvious advantages in indoor display and has become the backbone of the large screen splicing market. Especially, ultra narrow edge LCD splicing screens are more popular among users. Currently, Samsung LCD splicing screens, LG LCD splicing screens, and BOE LCD splicing screens are more eye-catching on the market.
